Having Fun at Water Works 2008
Summer is almost over, so we went to Water Works. The
kids loved the water and spent many hours wading on the pools. After
swimming, we even have time to celebrate the birthdays for some of the
kids

Dinner Dance 2007

It was through the continuing generosity and support of
the Filipino Canadian Autism Parent Support Group's friends,
volunteers, and collaborating agencies that the second dinner dance
fundraising event was a great success. FCAPSG, a fmily oriented support
group designed to have families deal with autism, had its 2nd dinner
dance fundraising event at Tempo Hall, South Common Community Centre,
2233 South Millway in Mississauga, October 20th, 2007.
Garage Sales

Member families also raise funds. FCAPSG demonstrated
the "One for All... all for one" attitude in this summer's garage sale
events. Families donated items and took part in the whole process of
buying and selling.
Autism Walk

Great things are possible when there is unity in action
and spirit. FCAPSG has proven once again that this statement is
absolutely true with its active participation at the Autism Speaks Walk
Now For Autism last Sunday, June 3,200 which was held at the Nathan
Phillip Square in Toronto. The Walk was dedicated to funding global
biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure
for Autism; autism awareness and to bringing hope to all who deal with
this disorder.
Summer Outings

FCAPSG had fun-filled summer days at Canada's
Wonderland and Ontario Place. In both occasions, assembly time was set
as early as 9:00am. A good number of families abidingly showed up that
early. Overall, 53 people including FCAPSG families, relatives and
friends joined the trip. It was a potluck get-together therefore each
family brought a dish which was shared among all the attendees.
Fellowship and camaraderie ensued during lunch time.
